Before Cesar Chavez, A union for farmworkers was impossible to start. A union is not about how strong one person is, it’s about how strong everyone together can be. Chavez always believed working together was better than working alone. Thousands of voices are louder than one voice itself. Even though farmworkers union had never worked before, Cesar Chavez’s Union Farm Workers brought everyone together to accomplish their goal of better working conditions. Cesar was a farmworker and knew all the hard work they had to do in other to earn a few dollars. He did a great job explaining everything he wanted the people to know. He once said, “I suppose if I wanted to be fair I could say that I’m trying to settle a personal score”. In my opinion, he meant if someone tells you that you can’t do whatever is you should take as a challenge and make it happen. We all know who Cesar Chavez is.
